Fantastic Friday! Math Fraction Stories, Multicultural Hands, Edit/Revise sense of touch, Creature Muesum....

Hi All,

In Math today, we worked on fraction number stories.

An example is "There were 8 pieces of pizza.  Jessica ate 2 pieces... What is the fraction?  The answer is 2/8."

Also, multicultural day is coming up!!!  The students are decorating their hands.  It is always so exciting to see where my students come from!!! Ireland, Honduras, Mexico, Germany, Peru, Guatemala, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Greece, Italy, Chile, Poland, Montenegro, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Portugal, Philippines, and Algeria....

Take a look at the students decorating their hands!!!
