Happy Monday! Subtraction Number Stories, Charlotte's Web, Letter Writing

Hi All,

    Today in math, we reviewed making change by counting up, and solved comparison number stories with money. 

Example: Johnny buys an apple for $0.59.  He gives the cashier $1.00.  How much money does Johnny have left?

 

In reading, we ready the "Last Day" chapter in Charlotte's Web....

 

In writing, we continued to write friendly letters....

 

Tonight, I have assigned one page of math and one page of reading homework...
