Reminder tomorrow Halloween Parade and Party!

Hi All,

Just a reminder that the halloween parade is at 2pm tomorrow and the halloween party is to follow right after the parade... (Around 2:30pm)...

Students are going to change into their costumes around 1:30pm.... Some parents have volunteered to help as well!!

Math Open Response... Unit 2 Test tomorrow... EARLY RELEASE tomorrow!

Hi all,

Just a quick note.... Today, the students practiced the math unit 2 open response.... Take a look!!!

The homework is the same for tonight....

The explanation is "Lucy duck stopped at 4 houses. She picked up 3 ducklings. And, she got 26 feet including her own duck feet"

Marvelous Monday! Publishing our stories! Raz Kids!

We started publishing our narrative stories today!!!! Take a look!!!

Also, Students worked on Raz Kids today!!

Tonight, I have assigned one page of math and reading homework...

Also, I sent home a Halloween party sign up sheet for our party on Friday...

Marvelous Monday! Stamford Arboretum... and rules for math!

Hi all,

What a great day!!! We went to the Stamford Arboretum.... and learned about seeds and looking at different kinds of trees and their bark... Take a look!!!

In Math today, we talked about rules.... and frames and arrows...

Below is an example of adding two to each frame....

Tonight I have assigned one page of reading and one page of math homework...

Tomorow is a rotating Orange day.... We have Art for our Special...

Also... Students went to www.softschools.com and practiced mad minute facts... I sent home a notice about it as well... Once you go to the website... you can click addition games... then mad minute addition... and practice addition fast facts... or you can click subtraction games and practice subtraction facts...
