HAPPY 100th Day of School!!! Can you believe it???!?!?
In math today... we went over doubling and halves with wubbles.... We practiced this skill during the whole group lesson and the students had the chance to do it independently...
The students have one page of math homework tonight.... Lesson 7.4...
Doubles...
Halves....
In reading, our objective was "good readers include key vocabulary in a summary... "
In writing our objective was "good writers use key vocabulary and important details when extending or continuing a story..." Today the students got to change the ending to a story... and use their own details....
In Science, we looked closely at hummus, sand, and soil... We used our 5 senses to describe our findings....
Tonight, I have assigned one page of reading homework....
