Day two....
What a great day!!
In math, the students talked about how math is all around us... reviewing coins...and talking about analog/digital clocks....
In reading, the students saw the classroom library and read books from the fiction bin... They did such a great job using whisper voices!
In writing, we wrote about a favorite summer memory!!! Some students had great stories about where they went this summer! Kudos to the parents for the smiles on your kids faces! :)
For homework, I sent home "ME BAGS"... the students are allowed to put 5 things in a bag and when they bring it in, they will be able to share! It is a great way to incorporate community and allows all the students to share things that represent them! :)
If you have not returned your child's emergency and internet forms, please do so when you can :)
