What a Wednesday! Doubles, Inferring, Mixtures in Science, Writing Endings...

Hi All,

In Math we talked about doubles... Students practiced doing doubles... Also we talked about sum, rows, and columns.... Tonight I have sent home one page of math homework...

In Reading, we talked about how good readers make inferences based on evidence... We knew that the fish in the story felt lonely because there was no one in the fish bowl with him... Take a look at these readers responses...

In writing our objective was "good writers develop a well developed ending to provide a sense of closure." Take a look at these endings!

In science, we did an investigation with cold and hot water.... One glass remained the same (cold) and the other glass (hot) changed.  The students observed that the glass with hot water... the glass turned foggy and blurry... and the cold water glass stayed the same...

Take a look at these scientists.... :)

A reminder that tomorrow is open house!!!! I can't wait to see you all!!!  I sent home one page of reading and one page of math homework for tonight!

Best,
Miss Ignatiadis
