Today in Math, we reviewed for our UNIT 2 test (That will be given Friday).... Tonight, I am sending home the first math review....
In Reading today, the students looked at identifying interesting language in texts.... We read the story More More More, Said the Baby "Little Guy" By Vera B Williams and the students were able to identify some interesting language..... (example: "I'm going to catch that baby up"... this meant I am going to hold the baby... )
Students had a chance to practice this concept in the story "Little Pumpkin" (written by Vera B Williams) with a partner.

In writing, the students continued writing their Halloween Stories.... Today we practiced writing the middle (body) of our story... We talked about how important it was so have a detailed middle and make sure that was the focus of the main story...
